About this site

In 2011 starts our third project for Nepal. Our dynamic team is working out the details for our trip in July 2011. This year we get technical support from the University of Ghent. And four team members will follow a course at the Belgium development agency. We all look forward to the new challenges in the coming years! And we thank you so much for your support!

On July 2, 2010, our second project in order to support Nepal started. 8 People had put on their walking boots after one year of intensive fundraising to leave for Nepal.

Our motto: be the change you want to see in the world!

Support for Nepal : Our projects in Nepal:

-Financial support to the Choeding Monastery

Neglected and abused children find a warm home and get free and up-to-date education (Englisch, math, science, sports...). The aim of this education is that these children in turn will fight against poverty.

-Financial assistance in building the school in Daman

Children between 2 and 7years abandoned while their parents work their fields. The school is build for 100 children. They will have the opportunity to learn, read and write at noontime they will enjoy a hot meal. Daman is an extremely poor region in Nepal.

-Development aid in a remote mountain village: Ratankot

The biggest problem in Ratankot is the exodus of young people to cities without opportunities. Our goal is to give young people a goal to stay in their village so they can stay with their families and be creative in obtaining an income.

Our projects in Ratankot:

-Teaching first aid and donate first aid aquipment.

-Planting 1300 trees and raise awareness about deforestation.

-Participate in education in the 10 year old school (sports - games - health - nutrition - handicap - the human body).

-Financial support for school materials.

-Purchase of a corn pealer powerd by a bicycle.

-Waste prevention, and raise awareness about environmental conservation.

-Explore the possibility to install biofermentation systems in the village.
